Lunchtime Concert at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance

Céiliúradh Ceoil – Scoil Áth a’ Mhuilinn

On Wednesday 7th October at the Irish World Academy, children from the Milford National School Band (Óige le Ceol) and Milford National School Choir performed a repertoire of musical genres ranging from traditional Irish melodies to contemporary chart music.

This following is a heartfelt message form Jean Downey, the Course Director at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance:

‘It is impossible to even begin to acknowledge all the preparation you and all of the teachers did in advance of the concert and on the day itself, even down to providing your own amplification. It was a wonderful experience for all of us and it was great to see such a large audience of students too. Please give our congratulations to everybody involved and we look forward to your next visit. Thank you for everything’.
