This week we remember our beloved friend and pupil, Aaron O’Flaherty who tragically lost his life this time last year.

The thoughts and prayers of  Milford School community are particularly with his mum, Cecilia,  and Aaron’s  family at this time.

Our recent copper tree project, Cruinniú na gCrann, has been an important part of healing for the community of Milford National School. The Flame Tree and the Bear Tree, which came about because of our loss as a community, have brought us together in commemoration and celebration. The many hands and hearts which contributed to the making of the trees will always remember what we have shared.
