Is Snow Fun?

Today I will be talking about snow.  Nowadays,snow can be great fun,but it also can be great danger.  There are more accidents on our roads in snow than at any other time of the year.  Here are some of the pros and cons about snow!!!

Firstly, extra money could be earned by gritting roads or shovelling snow during snow days.  Secondly, there are more people using public transport when there are snow days, and that means there is not as much pollution!  Thirdly, everywhere looks beautiful, such as the snow covered trees and snow covered rooftops.

On the other hand, many birds die because they cannot find food on snow covered ground.  Also, snow days have to be paid back at other times of the year in schools and businesses.  Finally, elderly people have more accidents in snow because they slip and fall on ice.

To sum it all up, snow can be great fun, especially for children, but it can have its downsides too.
