Irish Clothing Collections

For those of you about to embark on a Spring-Clean J, Irish Clothing Collections will be coming to the school on Wednesday 17^th February. Please bring your bags to the junior infant courtyard (weather permitting) on the morning of collection before 9.30am.

Scholastic

Scholastic Bookfair will be returning to the school from March 4^th. Volunteers will be needed to assist the children with making book selections and payment. If you are available to help please contact me. The bookfair will run for approx 5 days and volunteers are needed from 9am to 1pm approx. Any time you can give during those hours would be greatly appreciated.

Cake Sale

Our next cake sale will take place on Friday 27^th March (last day of term before Easter Holidays). All cakes, buns & food items to be brought to the staff room before 9am on the day. Please ensure that your containers are clearly labelled if you would like them returned.

Lotto

The lotto prize fund is now over €5000. Please ensure that children return their tickets to their teacher before the draw each Thursday. We will be having a special sellers prize draw after the midterm for a Scholastic Bookfair voucher worth €50.

Parents’ Council

Over the last few years we have lost a number of Parents’ Council members as their children have moved on to secondary school. I would encourage any parent who has an interest in joining the Parents’ Council to contact me and I can give you any information you may need. We meet approx once a month to discuss issues relating to the school including fundraising, policy reviews and any general items which may affect the school.
