Double City ‘A’ Champions 2017/18
Congratulations to our u13 Camogie girls who were crowned City’A’ Camogie Champions in May for the second year in a row after defeating St Nessans Mungret in the Gaelic Grounds. Captain Laura accepted the City Shield with great pride on behalf of her team .The girls continued their journey by defeating Caherally in the County semi-final but lost at the last hurdle to Raheenagh in the County Final.
The u13 girls also won the City ‘A ‘ Football title earlier in the year by defeating St Nessans Mungret in a closely fought match in the Gaelic Grounds. Captain Lily proudly accepted the cup on behalf of her team.
The school was delighted to welcome back our past pupil Niamh Richardson to present the girls with their Double City ‘A’ champions medals in camogie and football.
Niamh who has represented Limerick at senior level in camogie & football spoke with great pride, inspiration and encouragement to the girls.
