Maths Week – Second Class Maths Trail
As part of Maths Week 2016 Ms. Moloney’s second class students measured various sections of the school in metres. Students noted their estimates before measuring. Then pupils worked in pairs to cut metre string and measure. Finally actual measures were compared against estimates.
Second class students also worked in pairs to collect data around the school. Results of data collection were discussed and analysed in class.
