Shakin’ With Shakespeare
The children in Ms. Murrays’ Shakin’ With Shakespeare group recently marked the 400 year anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Shakespeare was born on April 23rd 1564 and died on his birthday in 1616.
Even four centuries after the playwright’s death, his plays and sonnets are still widely read and performed.
The children were thrilled with the special cake, inscribed with the words “Shakespeare 400”. They certainly did not need to ponder whether to eat, or not to eat!!!!
