Today we went on a nature walk with Geoff Hunt. The sun was shining as we set off to UL to observe some trees and insects. With Geoff’s expert guidance we learned how to identify various types of trees through their leaves and seeds. We even got to take samples of the leaves to observe more closely and create some leaf rubbings! Next, we collected several insects using nets. We found lots of different types of spiders, flies, ladybirds and some baby snails! On our travels we even met a friendly robin. She even sang a lovely tune for us. What a fantastic day!
